The Raise3D DF2 is a professional Digital Light Processing (DLP) resin 3D printer that delivers rapid printing, smooth surface quality, refined details, and remarkable reliability. It is optimized for engineering prototyping, manufacturing aids, and low-volume production.
Industrial-grade DLP optics
- Texas Instruments DMD chip — the first industrial-grade chip for DLP printing, delivering clear pixel images without superimposed effects.
- 2560 × 1440 resolution with Contour Compensation and Anti-Aliasing for significantly finer details and smoother surfaces than LCD-masked printers.
- Frame size error ≤ ±0.1 mm and distortion rate ≤ 0.1% — precision optics for dimensional accuracy.
RFID-tracked workflow
The DF2 uses RFID-tagged smart build plates that automatically record resin type and transfer print, wash, and cure settings between stations. Move the plate from printer → DF Wash → DF Cure with zero manual parameter entry. This reduces human error and ensures consistent results across every print.
Air-Peel technology
Raise3D's Air-Peel system provides reliable layer separation during printing, reducing the risk of failed prints and ensuring consistent quality from the first layer to the last.
Heavy-duty Z-axis
The Z-axis supports up to 10 kg part weight and 200 kg static load — capable of handling dense engineering resin parts without compromise.

Open Material Program (OMP)
Third-party resin compatibility through strategic partnerships.
- Henkel LOCTITE resins
- Forward AM / Ultracur3D resins
- DLP (Digital Light Processing) uses an industrial-grade projector with a Texas Instruments DMD chip to cure each layer as a single projected image. This produces sharper edges, more uniform exposure, and fewer artifacts than consumer LCD-masked printers. The DF2 achieves frame size error ≤ ±0.1 mm and distortion rate ≤ 0.1%.
- The DF2 uses an RFID-tagged smart build plate that records which resin was used and stores the printing, washing, and curing parameters. When you move the plate from the printer to the DF Wash and then to the DF Cure, settings transfer automatically — reducing errors, saving time, and ensuring consistent results.
- Raise3D resins include Standard White, High Detail Apricot, Tough 2K Grey, Rigid 3K Grey, and High Clear. A High Temperature Resin is coming soon. The Open Material Program also supports third-party resins from Henkel (LOCTITE) and Forward AM (Ultracur3D).
- Per the Raise3D US shop, the DF2 Basic Package MSRP is $2,499. Bundle options that include DF Wash and DF Cure are also available — request a quote for Fibricate pricing on Basic or bundled packages.
