The Raise3D DF2+ is an enhanced DLP resin printer building on the success of the original DF2. It features a higher-power, longer-lasting light engine, a 20% increase in printing speed, and broader compatibility with high-performance engineering resins.
Faster, more powerful
- 100 mm/h max speed — 20% faster than the DF2 (80 mm/h), enabling multiple design iterations within the same day.
- 50–60 mm/h general speed — average across all materials at 100 μm layer height.
- Enhanced light engine — higher power with doubled intensity and optimized optical path for faster curing and longer component lifespan.
Broader resin compatibility
The DF2+ supports all DF2 resins plus ESD Black (for static-sensitive applications), Draft Grey (for rapid iterations), and Standard Black. The Open Material Program includes Henkel LOCTITE and Forward AM Ultracur3D engineering resins.
Same precision, same workflow
Like the DF2, the DF2+ uses industrial-grade TI DMD optics at 2560 × 1440 resolution with RFID-tracked smart build plates that transfer settings automatically between printer, DF Wash, and DF Cure stations. Air-Peel technology ensures reliable layer separation, and the heavy-duty Z-axis handles parts up to 10 kg.

Open Material Program (OMP)
Third-party resin compatibility through strategic partnerships.
- Henkel LOCTITE resins
- Forward AM / Ultracur3D: IND405, IND403, RG9400 B FR
- The DF2+ features a higher-power, longer-lasting light engine that delivers a 20% increase in printing speed (100 mm/h max vs. 80 mm/h). It also has broader compatibility with high-performance engineering resins, including ESD, Draft Grey, and Standard Black resins, plus enhanced optical path and optimized HTF film. Pricing is separate: DF2 Basic starts at $2,499 MSRP; DF2+ Basic starts at $4,999 MSRP.
- DLP (Digital Light Processing) uses an industrial-grade projector with a Texas Instruments DMD chip to cure each layer as a single projected image. This produces sharper edges, more uniform exposure, and fewer artifacts than consumer LCD-masked printers. The DF2+ achieves frame size error ≤ ±0.1 mm and distortion rate ≤ 0.1%.
- All Raise3D resins: Standard White, High Detail Apricot, Tough 2K Grey, Rigid 3K Grey, High Clear, ESD Black, Draft Grey, and Standard Black. A High Temperature Resin is coming soon. The Open Material Program supports Henkel LOCTITE and Forward AM Ultracur3D resins (IND405, IND403, RG9400 B FR).
- The DF2+ uses an RFID-tagged smart build plate that records which resin was used and stores the printing, washing, and curing parameters. When you move the plate from the printer to the DF Wash and then to the DF Cure, settings transfer automatically — reducing errors, saving time, and ensuring consistent results.
- Per the Raise3D US shop, the DF2+ Basic Package MSRP is $4,999. Bundle options that include DF Wash and DF Cure are also available — request a quote for Fibricate pricing on Basic or bundled packages.
- Yes. Beyond the Basic Package (printer), Raise3D offers bundle options that include DF Wash and DF Cure. Ask us for a quote on the configuration you need.
- Advanced engineering prototyping, small-batch manufacturing, dental and medical models, jewelry casting, and any application requiring high dimensional accuracy with smooth surface finish. The enhanced light engine makes it especially suited for ESD-sensitive components and high-throughput draft printing.
