The Raise3D E3 is Raise3D's current professional IDEX 3D printer — engineered for TPU, composite, and multi-material printing at up to 200 mm/s. This page covers the E3 only (not earlier E-series IDEX models).
Four IDEX print modes
- Mirror Mode — prints a model and its mirror image simultaneously, doubling throughput for symmetric parts.
- Duplication Mode — prints two identical parts at once for batch production at twice the speed.
- Dual-Color — two colors in a single print without manual filament swaps.
- Dual-Material — combine materials with different properties (e.g. rigid PLA + flexible TPU, or structural PET CF + soluble PVA support).
Built for flexible materials
The E3 features a shorter filament feeding path that reduces resistance for flexible filaments. With the optional Flexible Filament Auxiliary Feeder, it reliably prints TPU (Shore 80A–95A), TPE, and other elastomers at up to 200 mm/s — where many IDEX printers struggle with flexible materials.
Engineering-grade composites
Optional silicon carbide nozzles handle abrasive composites like PPA CF, PET CF, PPS CF, and PA12 CF+. The 330 °C max nozzle temperature supports high-performance polymers that most desktop printers cannot process. Pro Ironing achieves surface roughness below Ra 2 μm on compatible materials.
Expandable platform
Start with the base printer and add capabilities as needs grow: Flex Package for TPU printing, CF Package for composite nozzles, or Full Package for both. The enclosed build chamber with HEPA + activated charcoal filtration keeps your workspace clean.

Third-party materials
Supported through the Raise3D Open Material Program (OMP).
- IDEX stands for Independent Dual Extruder — two print heads that move separately on the X axis. The E3 supports four modes: Mirror Mode (prints a model and its mirror image simultaneously), Duplication Mode (prints two identical parts at once), Dual-Color (two colors in one part), and Dual-Material (two different materials in one part, e.g. rigid + flexible).
- Yes. The E3 is specifically designed for flexible filament printing. With the optional Flexible Filament Auxiliary Feeder, it prints TPU, TPE-A, TPE-S, and TPE foam filaments with Shore A hardness from 80A to 95A at up to 200 mm/s. The shorter feeding path reduces resistance and improves reliability for flexible materials.
- Beyond standard PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG, and PC, the E3 prints industrial composites: PPA CF, PPA GF, PET CF, PET GF, PETG CF, PETG ESD, PPS CF, and PA12 CF+. Optional silicon carbide nozzles handle abrasive composites. The maximum nozzle temperature of 330 °C accommodates high-performance polymers.
- Pro Ironing is a post-layer finishing pass that smooths the top surface of each layer. Combined with Hyper Speed PLA Pro, the E3 achieves surface roughness below Ra 2 μm — comparable to injection-molded surfaces.
- The Raise3D E3 is available in four configurations: E3 Base (printer), E3 Flex Package (adds Flexible Filament Auxiliary Feeder + TPU filament), E3 CF Package (adds silicon carbide composite nozzles + PET CF filament), and E3 Full Package (includes both the Flex and CF add-ons plus additional filament). - Single-extruder printing: 330 × 240 × 240 mm. Dual-extruder printing (dual-color, dual-material): 295 × 240 × 240 mm. Mirror and Duplication modes: 150 × 240 × 240 mm per head (two parts simultaneously).
- This product page is for the Raise3D E3 only — Raise3D’s current IDEX model with independent dual extruders, up to 200 mm/s print speed, and optional Flex / CF / Full packages. It is not the older E2 or E2CF.
- The E3 includes a one-year limited warranty. RaiseShield extended warranties (1-year and 2-year) are available. As an authorized Raise3D reseller, Fibricate provides local support and can help you choose the right package. Contact us for a quote.
