75 W fiber laser — real production power

Open Material License
An optional license unlocks all printing parameters and allows third-party powders. Material cards (sold per 10 kg) provide temporary parameter access for testing before committing to a full license.
- Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) uses a 75 W infrared fiber laser to fuse polymer powder — such as PA12, PA11, or TPU — layer by layer inside a heated build chamber. The RMS220 spreads a thin layer of powder, the laser traces the cross-section, the platform drops, and the process repeats. Because unsintered powder supports the part during printing, SLS requires no support structures, enabling complex geometries and high part-nesting efficiency.
- The RMS220 supports Raise3D PA12, PA11, PA12 GB (glass-bead filled), PA NEXT, PA NEXT GB, TPU90A (black and white), and TPU86A (black and white). An optional Open Material License allows third-party powders as well.
- The RMS220 has a 75 W laser (vs. 30 W), 30,000 mm/s scan speed (vs. 12,500 mm/s), and a 17 L build volume (vs. 8.1 L). Raise3D claims 84% more parts per batch and 42% lower cost per part compared to the Fuse 1+. The RMS220 also supports TPU flexible powders and white powder printing thanks to its higher laser power.
- Build volume is 220 × 220 × 350 mm (approximately 17 liters). Under standard PA12 parameters with 20% packing density, the printer can produce up to 5 kg of finished parts per day.
- A separate C220-P Cleaning Station is recommended for depowdering and powder refresh. The Standard Package bundles the printer, Build Unit 220, and C220-P. The printer can also be purchased standalone with only the Build Unit.
- The printer measures 861 × 685 × 1,560 mm with a 0.58 m² footprint. It operates at 15–30 °C and ≤ 50% relative humidity. The self-adjusting ESD wheels let one person relocate it. No special facility infrastructure is required beyond standard power.
