The Raise3D RMS220 is a production-focused Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) 3D printer designed to bring polymer powder-bed manufacturing in-house with a predictable workflow, repeatable part quality, and lower total cost per finished output.

75 W fiber laser — real production power

At 2.5× the laser power of competing compact SLS systems, the RMS220 delivers faster sintering, better energy delivery into the powder, and the ability to print white powders that lower-power lasers cannot reliably process.

  • 30,000 mm/s galvo scan speed — 25× faster than the Formlabs Fuse 1+ (12,500 mm/s), enabling higher throughput per build.
  • Up to 5 kg/day output — PA12, standard parameters, 20% packing density by weight.
  • 0.58 m² footprint — compact enough for a workshop or lab, movable by one person on self-adjusting ESD wheels.

Complete production workflow

The RMS220 is designed around a full workflow — not one-off prototyping.

  • Job preparation in ideaMaker (SLS mode)
  • Printing with 4-zone infrared heating for uniform temperature
  • Build Unit exchange for continuous production
  • External cooling while the next build starts
  • Depowdering at the C220-P Cleaning Station
  • Powder refresh with RFID material tracking
  • Post-processing (blasting, polishing, dyeing)

Open material strategy

Raise3D offers its own validated powders (PA12, PA11, PA12 GB, PA NEXT, TPU90A, TPU86A) plus an optional Open Material License that unlocks all print parameters for third-party powders — giving you full control over material selection and cost.
